so glad no one is hurt

oak flats was our last Wheeling trip. we did the trail hackberry creek. tom and i went up Friday night, me deciding last minute i want to go. getting up there just in time for every one to be starving. after eating and setting up we finally got to sleep (not to mention Carsyn's screaming). in the morning we had a breakfast that was very good. thanks tom. a little after that were started packing some of the gear up. we started "warming up" on some hills next to camp, were billy found his first problem. i forgot what it was but it was there. good thing nothing major so we hit the road about an hour later we hit the trail head. a few hours and a few story's told by former trail runner Jeff, we had lunch next to a cattle puddle with some cow, steer, cow, bull, whatever you want to call them, after lunch we hit the trail again, it wasn't to long till we got to a hill no one could get up, although barley any one tried it. so we turned around and tried finding a different way. but no luck so we turned around yet again and did the trail backwards. once of the trail we hit the switch backs. tom and i wanted to do the switchbacks that he went up and down a few other times in a service truck to work on a d6. every one else wanted to go the way the came and left up the new switchbacks. a little and not far up the trail tom and i rolled his jeep on its side. i had to run to the end of the trail to get phone service, but it ended up none and being the wronge trail i turned around and walked back i meet up with tom not far from where we rolled, tom and i had an idea to climb up a moutain on some rocks to get phone service. so i hiked up the moutain and i got it! so i called billy and told him where we were and jeff, ryan, blaine, jesse, and billy came back into the canyon after finding there way up to us we rolled the jeep over and got the carb working agin so we could go home! a few tugs from jeff and a few pushs tom was home free. we got back to camp at about 8 pm, packed up and headed home.
